How Zelensky’s new commander is tearing through Russian lines | Battle Plans Exposed Oct 13, 2026

Description

Ukraine has launched a major high-tech counteroffensive code-named Operation Vivaldi. Moving away from rigid, old-school Soviet tactics, Ukraine’s new frontline leadership is replacing high-risk infantry assaults with a lethal mix of strike drones, un-crewed ground vehicles (UGVs), and decentralised manoeuvre warfare.

By empowering junior commanders on the ground and targeting communication boundaries between Russian command zones, the 3rd Army Corps has already liberated over 176 square kilometres, inflicted thousands of casualties, and sent shockwaves through Moscow's military hierarchy.

In this Battle Plans Exposed clip, military analyst Philip Ingram details how Ukraine’s tactical shift - combining ground robotics, FPV drone support, and agile infantry - is outsmarting Russian forces, while highlighting the stark leadership contrast between President Volodymyr Zelensky on the mud-slicked frontlines and Vladimir Putin in his isolated bunker.
