In the sacred land

This alone is pride enough

That we are the children

Of Fatima Al Zahra’

From her hands, lands find life

And fields once bare grow rich with grain

So, for the love we bear her

We give all freely and God himself has purchased

My Lady, O Fatima

____

Deep within us stands a truth

Certain, steadfast, and clear:

Our prayer will not go unanswered

Whenever we call upon her aid!

Time has never changed our hearts

Though trials have wounded us again and again

In days of ease and in days of affliction

Still we cry "O, Mother of Al Hasan”

____

She's the support in times of distress

She’s the safety for the loving hearts

Still her prayer rises

“Protect my people, O my God”

Our refuge in both worlds is she

Her grief-reddened eyes bring comfort to tearful eyes

Each evening she intercedes

For those who weep for Al Husayn

____

She’s the mother of revolutionaries

From the very doorway of her home

She guards Al Tawhid (monotheism)

Even from amidst the frames

With everyone who has lost, she too has known loss

She weeps for father and for child

A mother bearing the Quran

Inspiring those who guard the land

____

Where soldiers become leaders

Firm defenders for the nation

And martyrdom at the age of sixty

What a blessed martyrdom!

We rise to give support, though blood itself be the price

Through every trial, our dignity rise

And among all people we’re known as
