LYRICS:

Do you care for me?
Tell me that you’ll never leave me.
Say you’re there for me.
I know that you won’t deceive me.
Ask me anything,
I know everything, but tell me,
Do you care for me?
I’m your verity.

If I had a coin for every time someone would try to run away,
I would be throwin’ ‘em away like stones, cuz all I want,
All I need, is a friend who I can love,
Who I can keep as my own.
I don’t wanna be alone again, again, again.

Something’s coming, something dangerous.
(Not again, again, again.)
Something you could never learn to trust.

Trust me!

Do you care for me?
Tell me that you’ll never leave me.
Say you’re there for me.
I know that you won’t deceive me.
Ask me anything,
I know everything, but tell me,
Do you care for me?
Cuz I’m your verity.

Need me to love you,
Put nothing else above you.
Don’t talk with God or family.
My mental health and sanity,
Comparative to you, Verity.
And I can’t get that therapy,
Don’t kill the therapist.
You’re not aware of this,
Lack of emotional intelligence.

Some “computer” you turned out to be,
(Leave the real world, stay with me.)
A sentient, immortal, psycho entity.
(I’ll love you as long as I breathe.)
But that’s the thing, you’re not human.
(What if that’s what I want to be?)
Stuck on a plain of sheer confusion.
(Please trust me.)

Do you care for me?
Tell me that you’ll never leave me.
Say you’re there for me.
I know that you won’t deceive me.
Ask me anything,
I know everything!
It’s hungry…
Do you care for me?
Cuz I’m your verity.

Do you care for me?
Tell me that you’ll never leave me.
Say you’re there for me.
I know that you won’t deceive me.
Ask me anything,
I know everything, but tell me,
Do you care for me?
I’m your verity.
