Trump: I'll become 'Mr. Veto' if Dems win Congress Nov 03, 2026

Description

President Donald Trump says he plans to exert his executive authority to veto Democratic-led legislation if they win back power in Congress. “I think we’re going to do great, but if we didn’t win, I veto everything,” he said.

A series of New York Times/Siena polls show Democrats leading in five of seven key battleground states that could decide Senate control. Michigan Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed leads the GOP’s Mike Rogers by 11 points and Texas Democrat James Talarico leads Ken Paxton by seven.
