Every 1 iPhone is ‘STRUGGLE’ To Make Now! Apple Got Rejected By RAM Companies #shorts Oct 14, 2026

Description

Apple’s search for additional memory-chip supplies has drawn attention after reports said Chinese manufacturer ChangXin Memory Technologies, or CXMT, rejected its request for lower prices amid a global shortage.

The distinction is important: the reports concern a rejected discount request, rather than a confirmed refusal to supply Apple altogether. The pricing story first appeared in August 2026, so it should not be presented as a newly announced October development.

According to AppleInsider, citing Korean publication Digital Daily, CXMT reportedly quoted prices comparable to those charged by established suppliers such as Samsung and SK Hynix.

Separately, Reuters reported that Apple had been testing CXMT memory for products including iPhones and MacBooks, citing The Wall Street Journal. Reuters said it had not independently verified that report and that both companies declined to comment.

The discussions come as demand linked to the artificial intelligence boom puts pressure on memory supplies. For Apple, additional suppliers could help reduce supply risks and improve its negotiating position.

However, the available reporting does not establish that iPhone manufacturing has stopped because CXMT rejected Apple’s terms. Supply constraints and higher component costs can complicate production without bringing it to a halt.

For Indian buyers, the potential concerns are product availability and pricing. Any effect on specific iPhone models sold in India would require separate confirmation.

The episode highlights how component shortages can challenge even major technology companies with substantial purchasing power.
