Download the charity single ‘The Present’ for less than £1: https://samclegg.com/thepresent
All proceeds go to charities tackling loneliness in older people.
We never outgrow the need to be loved. For many older people, Christmas is the loneliest time of year. If someone in your life might be on their own this Christmas, reach out, while they’re still here.
I made this John Lewis inspired Christmas advert 2026 on a budget of less than £100. I’m the singer, songwriter, producer, scriptwriter, director and videographer. I have no record label, no management and no team. This is a completely solo project, and I really need your help to spread the message.
How you can help:
1. Download ‘The Present’ for less than £1: https://samclegg.com/thepresent
2. Buy the instrumental version too, to double your donation.
3. Share this video. It would mean the world to me.
4. Give an older relative or neighbour a ring this Christmas.
Every download counts towards the Official Charts, and one download counts as much as 100 streams. If you can, buy it on iTunes, as it counts towards the Big Top 40 too.
All proceeds are donated to two wonderful charities, Re-engage and Friends of the Elderly, both tackling loneliness among older people across the UK. This is an independent fundraiser in aid of both charities.
Thank you for being part of something truly meaningful.
