The City Boy Movement is targeting ten million youth votes ahead of the 2027 elections.

Meanwhile, a Federal High Court in Abuja has rejected Omoyele Sowore’s application to compel the DSS Director-General to testify personally in his cybercrime trial. Tensions also flared outside the courtroom following a confrontation between a lawyer and Sowore’s supporters.

He stressed that he was not asking Nigerians abroad to stop supporting their families, but calling for a country that provides jobs, healthcare, education and economic opportunities.

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has challenged Nigeria to reclaim its former economic strength, recalling when the country reportedly supported international financial institutions and forgave Britain’s debt. He has also agreed to appear on Bae U’s YouTube show, Curiosity Made Me Ask.

In Kaduna State, Governor Uba Sani has issued land titles to seven communities in Igabi Local Government Area following a decade-long dispute involving the military. More than 5,000 residents are affected, with over 2,000 reportedly displaced.

Nigeria also remembers investigative journalist Dele Giwa, who was killed by a parcel bomb on October 19, 1986. Forty years later, his murder remains unresolved, while his legacy continues to inspire press freedom and investigative journalism.

Six years after the #EndSARS protests, Nigerians are remembering young people who demanded an end to police brutality. The Lekki Toll Gate remains a symbol of the movement, its victims and the continuing calls for justice, accountability and a better Nigeria.
